Syuhada graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
She brings a broad understanding of legal procedures and regulations, with particular strengths in financial crimes, risk assessment, and compliance. During her tenure at Citibank Malaysia, she served as a Compliance Officer, focusing on money laundering compliance, regulatory frameworks, and policies across ASEAN and North American regions.
Afterwards, she returned to legal practice, where she honed her litigation skills by working on a class-action civil suit in the housing development sector. Subsequently, she expanded her expertise at the Chambers of Kamarul Hisham & Hasnal Rezua.
Since then, Syuhada has built extensive experience across a wide range of practice areas, including general litigation, civil and corporate litigation, corporate drafting and advisory, conveyancing, property law, as well as probate and administration. Notably, she consistently handles complex disputes and estate transactions, which highlights her versatility and dedication as a legal practitioner.
In addition to her practice, Syuhada actively contributes to governance and regulatory compliance through her work with the Paralympic Council Malaysia. As a member of the Council’s Constitutional Review Committee, she played a key role in aligning the Council’s constitution with international standards set by the International Paralympic Committee. Furthermore, she currently serves on the Council’s Legal Committee, where she advises on legal and governance matters to support the Council’s continued growth and compliance.
